Dorma Praia Golfe - Espinho (Aveiro)

Beautiful beachfront with easy access to the sea.

The room we were given was not thoroughly cleaned, as evidenced by the dust on surfaces that required re-cleaning. The bar service was frustrating-on multiple occasions, no staff appeared, leaving us waiting for drinks for far too long.

We appreciated above average and warm breakfasts!

It was updated, modern and with big windows.

The staff is not helpful or friendly. You would think they would cater to you as a paying customer. My friends stayed down the road at a hotel/apartment and their staff was very helpful. If I went back I would stay at my friend's place.

Receptionist David was nice and helpful, making check-in easy. Consider arriving early to secure parking, as it can fill up quickly.

Nice hotel to spend time on the beach and near Porto (20 min by train). Clean rooms, beautiful location, almost on the beach. It's an older hotel ( i suspect seventies) but that gives a certain nostalgic look and feel.

In a central location with restaurants and bars near the hotel. Very good service throughout stay.

The hotel is perfectly positioned right on the oceanfront, with access to the beach and fine views. I appreciated the spacious family room that accommodated us comfortably, complete with two bathrooms. The staff's customer service stood out, especially the attentive concierge were very good to assist with our needs .

The Wi-Fi access was rather limited, which occasionally disrupted my ability to work remotely.

Hotel staff is excellent. Also the breakfast is very good, despite it was not included in the rate.

Hotel is old and external appearence is very bad. Air conditioning is not good and it depends on the machines installed in your room.

During our stay, we spent a couple of nights enjoying the nearby Baia Beach, just a short walk away, which was fantastic. The suite we had offered a beautiful view and was spacious. One highlight was the breakfast, where, despite some variety limitations, the pastries were particularly enjoyable. I noticed some areas, like the sauna, could use improvement as they weren't very warm. Our experience was decent, but there's definitely room for enhancement in certain amenities.

Location of hotel fanatstic, room very modern and comfy. Indoor heated pool and jacuzzi lovely and warm with amazing views of the beach. We had an excellent long weekend. Tip - take the train to Porto (25mins) for lovely evening dining by the river.

Outside very ugly and tatty but not reflected in the standard of the rooms.

Staff were accommodating and the hotel was reliable, it had wonderful location all in all everything was excellant. The room we had was reasonably large with a balcony. Location: the property was very close to the stunningly beautiful beach.

The spacious bathroom was a plus, and the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. The location was perfect, just steps away from the beach.

The breakfast selection could have been better.

Considerate and accomodating staff who were concerned about the client's welfare; proximity of hotel to beach, surrounding city, Porto, Metro.

Morning staff (female) was supposed to help me arrange for a river cruise. When I received the call in the morning from her, she neither could speak English or do the task. She hung up and left me the impression (after she said "yes", "yes", "yes" to all of my questions) that she had reserved a place from me on a cruise. This was not the case and I only find out later in the day when I called the hotel from Porto to confirm all of the details. I could have missed out on the cruise because of this. I didn't appreciate that. ....Also, the maids did make up my bed while I was out but didn't vacuum. The carpet still had the same crumbs from some pastries that I ate the evening before and I didn't like that. And lastly, the way the tables were not set in the cafe for breakfast where you had to get your own napkin, fork and knife and look for the salt and pepper shakers on the buffet table made me feel like I was in a budget motel instead of a hotel that advertises "spa and relaxation".

Is near of casino and Bingo. The beach is very quiet and nice. Near the beach we have a nice space to run and ride bycicle. The pool at the hotel is very good with a great seesight.
